The THdG Trade and Service Ltd energy storage business unit was established in 2019 by a group of Hungarian electrical engineers.
The owners decided on entering the energy storage market after the success of their previous venture, the ODD Consulting Ltd, founded in 2007, which became a leading company group in the market of electricity meters and metering. They expected THdG to be as successful as its predecessor.
After the establishment of the business unit, our company successfully participated in several profitable procurement procedures.
Our main area of expertise is the design, licensing, construction, recurrent maintenance and continuous status monitoring of various energy storage solutions.
We are an ISO-certified company with certifications in three key management systems:

In 2025, THdG Kft. implemented an information security management system that complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

My goal is to create a motivating environment where my colleagues are happy to come to work each day. I also seek to build a team that is capable of performing tasks and serving our clients with a high level of professional knowledge and precision, with an equal emphasis on maintaining team spirit and supporting each other. I believe that only a well-functioning team with excellent products and management can maintain a satisfied customer base and remain effective in the long run.

As a qualified electrical plant engineer and lighting engineer with an MBA certified degree in economy and in international project management, I have 30 years of engineering and 25 years of management (including 8 years of senior management) experience with in the electricity industry.
During this time I accumulated significant knowledge in the fields of network loss reduction, operation of consumer invoicing systems, metering activity management, LEAN project management, network investments and network operation.
I invest this knowledge and experience gained during my professional career in the management of teams working with well-defined goals. My main motivation is to build a company in which precision, industry expertise and financial efficiency create a perfect balance together.
ISTVAN KÓCZIÁN

I have nearly 10 years of experience in power engineering and metering, 5 years of which I have spent as an expert manager in Hungarian power supply metering.
Aside from being committed to continuous self-improvement, I am characterized by precision and determination. In my work I am motivated by the successful completion of complex and challenging tasks. My current tasks include the coordination of technical projects, the implementation of tendering procedures, consultation on standards, technical and economic calculations.

I gained years of metering and network design experience in the power supply sector, where I coordinated the connection of two battery-powered energy storage networks installed within the framework of the lElectrix Horizon 2020 project. I can effectively integrate these experiences into my current responsibilities. During my daily work I’m inspired by working with innovative technologies, participating in product development and pursuing customer satisfaction.
As Head of Sales I am responsible for product portfolio development, the execution of public procurement tenders and sales strategy development.

Villamosmérnöki végzettséggel több mint 13 éve dolgozom műszaki területen, pályafutásom elején áramszolgáltatói szektorban szereztem alapvető tapasztalatokat a villamosenergia-elosztás világában. A feszültség alatti munkavégzés (FAM) sem maradt elméleti szinten: saját testközelből ismertem meg a kisfeszültségű hálózaton végzett munkák kihívásait és biztonsági követelményeit.
A műszaki szemléletemhez az évek során pénzügyi látásmód is társul.: Pénzügyi hatósági vizsgát tettem, és a kereskedelmi tevékenység mellett pénzügyi megoldásokkal is foglalkozom. Úgy gondolom, hogy a sikeres értékesítés nemcsak jó terméket, hanem megértést, átláthatóságot és bizalmat igényel – akár műszaki, akár gazdasági oldalról.

Even during my high school years, I worked summer jobs in the electrical field, and I have never worked outside this profession. I gained my experience by climbing the career ladder step by step, which I am proud of, and I leverage this experience in my current work as well.
After obtaining my electrical engineering qualification in power systems, I continued my career in 2020 as an electrical project manager, where I primarily performed preparatory, cost optimization, and construction coordination tasks in the public procurement sector. In my work, I place great emphasis on precise planning and responsible execution.
As a qualified electrical safety inspector and lightning protection inspector, I view safety and precision during construction from a different perspective. Thanks to my experience, I can simultaneously understand both the technical details and the entirety of complex projects. I am open to new technologies and continuously seek development opportunities. The key to a sustainable future lies in harmonizing energy efficiency and safety.
RÓBERT BOROS

I obtained my degree in electrical engineering from Óbuda University, where I studied in English. I am currently pursuing my MBA at the University of Miskolc, where I am supplementing my technical background with business, financial, and management knowledge to support the successful implementation of projects with a more comprehensive approach.
I gained professional experience at EPC project management companies specializing in solar panel systems and energy storage, where I prepared and implemented complex investments. The experience I gained there provides me with a strong foundation for confidently handling technical and organizational challenges.
My current responsibilities include overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from sales through commissioning. By actively monitoring projects, I ensure that our customers’ optimal technical solutions, economic goals, and individual needs are aligned for successful implementation.

Engineer
With an electrical engineering degree, I have been working in the technical field for more than 13 years. At the beginning of my career, I gained fundamental experience in the world of electrical power distribution in the utility sector. Live electrical work (work on energized systems) did not remain at a theoretical level for me: I became personally familiar with the challenges and safety requirements of work performed on low-voltage networks.
Over the years, I have added a financial perspective to my technical approach, having passed financial regulatory examinations and working with financial solutions alongside commercial activities. I believe that successful sales require not only good products, but also understanding, transparency, and trust – whether from a technical or economic standpoint.
What is truly important to me in my work is a customer-centric approach and building long-term partnerships; open and honest communication in all situations, as well as high-level professional standards, whether dealing with the electrical industry or financial matters.
